Hello,
TyperA doesn't seem to recognize my accents in Brazilian (á, é, í and stuff like that). Typing them or not just results in the same letter, and they all go as mistakes. Anyone also has this problem?

I've got the very same problem. I'm not sure how to solve it, though. I've tried reinstaling java sofware, but the problem remains. I'll keep trying. . .

Hi mates!
After years without using this amazing site because the problem reported here I FINNALY found out the fix!
You all can solve this problem just instaling the MICROSOFT JVM (Java Machine by Microsoft) instead of SUN JVM (made by SUN Microsistems). You can check if the SUN JVM is installed in your machine by clicking on "Tools", after that, "Internet Options" then "Advanced" on Internet Explorer. If you find out something like "Sun(Java)" the JVM you've installed is from SUN, not MICROSOFT. You can change it by disabling the boxes bellow the "Sun(Java)" is from and INSTALLING the MICROSOFT JVM.
The MJVM is available on http://www.dmt.com/jvm_download.htm , if the page has expired you can find it out at google, the name of the file is msjavx86.exe.
Don't forget, after installing the MJVM you have to turn it on by checking the boxes below "Microsoft JVM" on the "Advanced" tab.

Quem estiver com problemas de acentuação gráfica com a nossa amada língua portuguesa nesse site pode verificar a seguinte situação: O JVM (Java Machine) instalado em sua máquina certamente é o da SUN Microsistems e não o da MICROSOFT, para verificar isso você pode clicar em Ferramentas > Opções da Internet, na aba Avançado, no Internet Explorer; se houver algum item chamado "Sun(Java)" desabilite todas as suas opções e então instale o da Microsoft a partir do seguinte endereço: http://www.dmt.com/jvm_download.htm , se a página tiver expirado por algum motivo, procure o arquivo no google, o nome dele é msjavx86.exe, como chave de pesquisa você pode utilizar "Microsoft JVM Download". Após instalar você deverá checar todas as caixas que estão abaixo dele na aba Avançado.
Feito isso você pode utilizar novamente os acentos aqui!
Qualquer dúvida estou à disposição aqui mesmo no tópico.
