My fastest finger is my right index. And I can press a single key 30 times at a rate of 400 to 450 keys per minute(80-90 words per minute). The fastest I've ever typed (proper sentences using all fingers) was 60Wpm or 300 keys per minute.

I'm curious about how finger speed relates to overall typing speed so I'd like to know what repeat rate faster typists can reach for a short string of the same key.

I found an online test that measures raw speed in words per minute at http://www.typeonline.co.uk/typingspeed.php
