I don't really know if it is called touch typing technique but that's the way they call it in the game "typing of the dead"...
I have my own way of typing, I don't type like the touch typing technique.... does this technique actually improve speed or comfort ??

Touch typing is generally defined as typing on a keyboard without looking at the keys. Staying on the home-row, and using certain fingers for specific keys, of course.
It's the fastest way to type. If you're typing quickly enough, you might not even have time to blink, much less look at the keyboard.
