40wpm isn't unreal... but its difficult to type that fast by looking on the keyboard, better try to learn touchtyping...

^^yeah it would be better for you if you'll learn it... i'm german in german words test 2min i have 67wpm;) and im slow... :(

no, it's possible, it just takes a long time... i'm not a touch-typist, just a part-time computer junkie who has slowly, over the course of 12 years, built up to the level where i never have to look down at the keyboard anymore. i can get up to 65 wpm (i keep losing some scores, for some reason each trial i run immediately after logging in does not record and only after i log in again does the next test record).

yeah, i have to learn it better, in german words i got 396, it's not very fast... but if you want to type faster, you have to practice all the time!
