I thought the very same thing when I first found TyperA!
The characters are quite standard, there is no reason not to program it.

That's the first thing I thought of after I tried it once in English. I'm using an AZERTY keyboard, so I was wondering if typing French words would affect my typing speed, considering that's the language my keyboard was designed for.
