| Free text: | Using AZERTY keyboards. Been typing since high school (1980) because my handwriting was unreadable. Now, May 2025, I've been typing fulltime since then, in my job as a computer programmer.
Average measured speeds on other tests (longer text) 600+ cpm, I type about 400+, occasionally over 500 cpm in normal daily use. Speed also depends on mood and physical condition. The actual keyboard has its influence. And also temperature has a huge influence. |
